Singapore: Higher education and industry experience

I went to Singapore in 1995 on the SIA/NOL scholarship to pursue Computer Enginnering at the Nanyang Technological University. The scholarship came with a 6-year bond to work for a Singapore-registered company. I became a permanent resident and completed my bond. I then went back to school – did my Ph.D. from the National University of Singapore. I spent fourteen years in Singapore.

Modern Singapore is a celebrated success story of the 20th century. Despite its size, it offers the world much to learn from.
