Elizabeth Coup

Betts is a second year archives student in SLIS. She also works with Project ARCC, and is a processor at the Center for the History of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. When she is not doing work or school, she also enjoys discovering new cheeses and watching The Golden Girls.

Kristen Weischedel

Kristen is a dual degree archives/history student in SLIS. She also works with New Archivists’ Roundtable for Early Professionals and Students, and Project ARCC. When she is not doing work or school, she enjoys discovering new cheeses and watching The Golden Girls.

The co-chairs….

  • Schedule and moderate monthly meetings
  • Coordinate events (field trips, workshops, panels) and volunteer opportunities
  • Moderate SCoSAA e-mail acccount and listserv
  • Act as student representatives to the archives faculty
  • Attend GSLIS Orientation to speak with incoming archives students
  • Order food for events

The Secretary/Archivist….

  • Takes minutes at each meeting
  • Maintains SCoSAA files (electronic and hard copies)
  • Monitors event registrations
  • Photographs and documents SCoSAA events
  • Creates event flyers and publications
  • Assists co-chairs as needed

TREASURER

Ryan MiniotRyanPic

Ryan is currently in his third semester of the dual-degree Archives and History program at Simmons. He received a BA in History and minors in Political Science and African-American Studies from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Ryan has an array of historical interests, but Kurdish history is what is currently most prominent. Outside of history and archiving Ryan enjoys punk and hip-hop music, Sinclair Lewis novels, and watching most major team sports.

Kristin Wright

Kristin is a student in the dual degree program for history/archives. She is currentlycompletingan internship at the JFK Library and Museum and worksat Northeastern University’s Archives and Special Collections. Outside of school and work, Kristin enjoys running and trying new foods.
