CO-CHAIRS
Sharon Parrington
Sharon is a student in the dual-degree Archives Management and History program. She received her bachelor’s degree in English with a minor in Classical Studies at the University of Massachusetts Boston. Sharon is interested in Environmental History and specifically on the horticultural practices of the Native American peoples living in Southern New England during the seventeenth century. When she has time, Sharon enjoys reading, binge-watching Netflix, running, and scuba diving.
Timothy Walsh
Tim is an MS candidate with focuses in archival management and technology. He works as an Archives and Research Assistant at Tufts University Digital Collections & Archives and a Project Assistant at Harvard Business School’s Baker Library Special Collections and spent this past summer as the Born-Digital Intern at the University of Wyoming’s American Heritage Center. Prior to entering SLIS, Tim earned a BA in English from the University of Florida and worked an assortment of odd jobs, including supervising the box office of an independent movie theater and providing administrative support for a group of behavioral psychologists. In his free time, Tim enjoys reading, cooking, watching movies, playing guitar, and riding his bicycle around town.
The co-chairs:
- Schedule and moderate monthly meetings
- Coordinate events (field trips, workshops, panels) and volunteer opportunities
- Moderate SCoSAA e-mail acccount and listserv
- Act as student representatives to the archives faculty
- Attend GSLIS Orientation to speak with incoming archives students
- Order food for events

TREASURER
Ryan Miniot
Ryan is currently in his third semester of the dual-degree Archives and History program at Simmons. He received a BA in History and minors in Political Science and African-American Studies from Trinity University in San Antonio, TX. Ryan has an array of historical interests, but Kurdish history is what is currently most prominent. Outside of history and archiving Ryan enjoys punk and hip-hop music, Sinclair Lewis novels, and watching most major team sports.

WEBMASTER
Daniel Axmacher
Daniel is entering his third semester in the Archives Management and History dual degree program. He received a BA in Classical Languages from the College of Wooster in Northeast Ohio in 2012. Dan’s interests include Ancient History and the history of monumental architecture and public spaces, as well as music, pop culture and various other things. In his free time he enjoys playing music, doodling on notecards, reading and watching television.
