CO-CHAIRS
Ellie Hinkle
Ellie Hinkle (she/her/hers) is in her second year in the Archives Concentration at SLIS. She was born and raised in Colorado, and received her B.A. in Cultural Anthropology from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. On campus, Ellie works as a SLIS Graduate Student Assistant to an archives faculty member as well as in the Office of Residence Life as a Graduate Resident Director. She hopes to work in a museum/historical society or small university archives and fight for filling in the gaps of collections with the voices of those who have been erased, unheard, or marginalized.
Danita Callender
Danita Callender (she/her/hers) is acting co-chair for SCoSAA. She has a B.A. in Psychology from Salem State College with a minor in Media Communications. Presently, she is in her second semester at SLIS with a concentration in Archives Management. This semester she has an on-site internship at the Belmont Hill School in Belmont, MA working in their archives. Danita has been known to be bitten by the travel bug and loves to explore many places, people, cultures, and cuisines across the globe. Her last trip was to Myanmar (in Southeast Asia) late 2019.
The co-chairs:
- Schedule and moderate SCoSAA meetings
- Coordinate events (field trips, workshops, panels) and volunteer opportunities
- Moderate SCoSAA e-mail account and listserv
- Act as student representatives to the archives faculty
- Attend SLIS Orientation to speak with incoming archives students
- Order food for events
SECRETARY/ARCHIVIST
Kevin McGrath
Kevin McGrath (he/him/his) is in his second year of the dual history/archives program at SLIS. He is from Massachusetts and received his bachelors in history from Wheaton College, Massachusetts. Off-campus Kevin works as a visitor center staff member at the USS Albacore Museum in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He hopes to work in a historical archive or museum after graduation.

Annalise Hansen
Annalise Hansen (she/her/hers) is in her first year in the dual Archives and History M.A. program at Simmons. She is originally from New York but has spent most of her life traveling around the United States. Annalise received her B.A. in English and History from Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, New York. After graduation, she plans to work in a public library archive or museum with rare books and manuscripts. She hopes to ensure the preservation of inclusive narratives for the education of future generations.
