CO-CHAIRS
Stacie Williams
Stacie is a full-time archives student in her first semester. She was born and raised in Milwaukee and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison, receiving a BA in journalism. She worked as a journalist for the past 10 years and lived in Chicago for much of that time. She’s very excited about working with SCoSAA and is hoping to use one of the most important journalistic skills in her arsenal–finding the best cheap food and drinks–to help bring everyone together! In her spare time she pursues her love of baconnaise, (James) Baldwin and boxing, but not necessarily in that order.
Derek Mosley
Derek Mosley, a native of La Marque, TX is a very focused and determined individual. He attended Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA as a freshman. His focus in school was history and African American studies. Derek was invited to join Phi Alpha Theta: The National History Honor Society and The John Henrik Clark: African American Studies Honor Society as a student. Also while a student at Morehouse, he joined the world-renowned Morehouse College Glee Club where he toured and served as the assistant secretary for the organization. During the spring 2008 semester, Derek became an Andrew Mellon Fellow at the Atlanta University Centers Robert W. Woodruff library. While involved in this program, Derek found his deep interest in the archives field. He toured various repositories including, the State of Georgia archives, Emory University, the Atlanta History Center, and Coca Cola Corporation. Derek graduated with honors from Morehouse College in May of 2009 and chose to continue his education at Simmons College Graduate School of Library and Information Science in Boston, MA where he is in the archive management program. While at Simmons he has interned at Tufts University Digital Collections and Archives. He also worked at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Museum. In October 2009 he became one of the Association of Research Libraries Diversity Scholars. In the summer of 2010, he interned at Yellowstone National Park Archives in Gardiner, MT. He looks forward to serving as your SCOSSA co-chair for the 2010-11 school year.

TREASURER
Sarah Funke Donovan
Sarah Funke Donovan is pursuing an M.L.S. with an Archives concentration. She grew up in beautiful, sunny Colorado and misses the Rocky Mountains. After getting undergraduate degrees in Music and Philosophy from Covenant College near Chattanooga, Tennessee, she decided to move north for a couple of years and obtain an M.A. in Music Criticism from McMaster University, located in southern Ontario. There she quickly learned that Coffee Crisps are the best-kept Canadian secret. Sarah’s ultimate goal is to put all of her music education to good use as an archivist for a music institution, but she would be quite happy to work in a field related to her other interests: women’s history, social justice and children’s literature. She would also just be quite happy to work. When she is not studying or thinking about studying, Sarah is probably making something crafty.
