    *AMIA: Audiovisual Transfer Workshop
    4:00pm – 6:00pm – Northeastern University, 360 Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02115, United States
    Joey Heinen (NEU) and Rebecca Fraimow (WGBH) will lead a video digitization workshop, including: equipment and signal path, calibration/monitoring, quality control, transcoding, and storage and file transferring. Valid photo ID is required for admittance to the NEU Archives.     A Career Education Coach will be giving a short session on “Preparing to Network at the Career and Networking Fair” from 4:15 pm to 4:45 pm. Then, from 5:00 pm to 5:45pm, there will be individual resume reviews for 15 minute sessions each. Drop in whenever you want. Light refreshments will be served. It is first come, first served, so come and have your career questions answered!

    *SCoSAA – MIT Institute Archives & Special Collections Repository Tour
    4:30pm – 6:00pm
    SCoSAA will be touring the MIT Institute Archives and Special Collections on Wednesday, April 6, from 4:30 PM to about 6 PM. Students can meet at 77 Massachusetts Avenue that day by 4:20, and we will walk over to the library building together. Nora Murphy, the Archivist for Reference, Outreach, and Instruction, will provide us with an overview of the collections and the overall work that is done at the Institute Archives and Special Collections.     *Schlesinger Library Event – Strong Voices Indigenous Women Wikipedia Edit-a-thon
    4:00pm – 6:00pm – Schlesinger Library (3 James Street, Cambridge, MA)
    Join a celebration of the artistic, political, and professional contributions of indigenous women. No previous experience writing Wikipedia entries is necessary. Wikipedia experts and research librarians from Harvard libraries will be available to help you write and edit your entries. A list of possible subjects, printed reference materials, and online resources will be provided to support the work. New ideas and resources are also welcome. If you cannot join us in person, you can also participate remotely. Refreshments and a behind-the-scenes tour of the Schlesinger Library will be provided for those attending the edit-a-thon.     ResumeX is a speed-dating style career development workshop in which LIS professionals review current graduate students’ resumes and cover letters, providing constructive feedback. Please bring copies or your resume, cover letter, and business cards. Dinner and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided. Although SLA is sponsoring ResumeX, the event is open to students interested in working in all types of libraries! We have professionals signed up to volunteer from a wide range of libraries including academic & public.
