The Student Chapter of the Society of American Archivists (SCoSAA) will be hosting a Town Hall meeting and Open House with pizza, fun, and conversation about the program. This event is open to everyone and includes a discussion with the SLIS archives faculty members. If you’d like to submit a question prior to the event, please do so at this link. There will be opportunities for both anonymous online and in-person question submissions, as well as a live discussion of questions. To enhance inclusion, the Town Hall will be live-streamed! The Diversity, Equity, Race, Accessibility, and Identity in LIS (DERAIL) Forum is a student-organized event to bring SLIS students together to discuss how systemic forms of oppression operate within LIS, and how social justice frameworks can guide our work as students and practitioners. DERAIL is now accepting submissions for presentations, proposals, and other works, please visit the proposals page for more information! Deadline for proposals is February 21, 2016.
