Wednesday September 16th:
- *PLG – PLG General Meeting
4:30 pm to 6:00 pm
The Progressive Librarians Guild (PLG) will be holding our first general meeting of the semester on Wednesday, September 16th, 4:30-6pm in the student lounge. Snacks (pizza?) will be provided. We will be discussing PLG plans for the semester here at SLIS, what it means to be in PLG, and creating an awesome space (with pizza?) to meet new friends and do some radical librarian things!
This year we are working harder than ever to open up PLG to distance students, so we will also be live-tweeting (follow us on Twitter, @plgatsimmons) this general meeting, along with having a Google hangout if anyone would like to really get into the thick of it! We’ll have 8 spaces available for the hangout, so please e-mail us at [email protected] to reserve a spot!
