Sign up HERE to join the SLIS meetup for Take Back the Night, organized by the Simmons College Violence Prevention and Educational Outreach Program and Betsy’s Friends.The SLIS meetup will meet in a space to be determined, and we will head to the Simmons College Residence Campus together. The official walk will begin at the Simmons College Residence Campus, and end at the Laura Peresky Center in the Main College Building. There will be a speaker for about 20 minutes, followed by an opportunity to share personal stories of survival and experiences.

Lefteri Beccera will present his research on developing an audiovisual archive in La Paz, Mexico. Dr. Ceja and Dr. Colon-Aguirre will present on the “records issues” embedded in the information needs of immigrant communities during immigrant raids.
