Brought to you by SCoSAA (Student Chapter of the Society of American Archivists)
We’re having a Town Hall meeting to facilitate discussion between the students and faculty about the archives track. Similar to LISSA’s open house last fall, the goal of this meeting is to open lines of communication to discuss the areas we are doing well in and those that need improvement.
This event is intended to help us grow as a community to make positive changes for current and future members of the program. This is a great opportunity to connect with other students and faculty, and to help improve the archives program. Pizza and refreshments will be served!
Ask archives faculty any questions you have at the event or submit them anonymously now at: https://goo.gl/XFHQ1x
The event will also be live-tweeted on our Twitter (@SCoSAA) so that even if you can’t make it, you can follow along and tweet in any questions you may have.
Join SoCS for our second Mixer of the semester! Come and go as you please. We will be purchasing appetizers to share all evening!
All SLIS Students are welcome to this social event!
Join PLG and Prison Book Program. Prison Book Program mails books to people in prison to support their educational, vocational and personal development and to help them avoid returning to prison after their release. We also aim to provide a quality volunteer experience that introduces citizens to issues surrounding the American prison system and the role of education in reforming it.
Students can meet PLG officers at 10:30 am on Saturday in the lobby of the Palace Road building. We will travel to the event site together.
