This week we are highlighting three great events:
November 12th (Wednesday): LIS Conferences Panel
Simmons ASIS&T, SLA and ALA bring you a panel all about LIS conferences. We will be featuring speakers from all three groups to discuss how to cut conference costs, why you should attend a conference and the recent topics at all 3 conferences. RSVP if you can here.
12pm-1pm in Palace Road Building, Room 314
November 13th (Thursday): World Usability Day with Simmons UXPA
Participate in a Usability Lightning Round for a fast-paced, fun, and interactive approach to website evaluation and user feedback, featuring the websites of the Harvard-Smithsonian Astrophysics Data System and Suffolk University’s Sawyer Library. Give real-time feedback on these interfaces, meet the people behind the websites, and share your UX tips and tricks…before time is up! No experience is needed to participate–just bring yourself and your thoughts on UX.
