Simmons ASIS&T is a student chapter of the Association for Information Science and Technology (ASIS&T), located at Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts. We aim to promote information science and technology within the LIS field. Our mission is to support SLIS students interested in information science and technology through networking/mixers, workshops, panels, site visits, and other IS&T-related events. Our vision is that all Simmons LIS students augment their understanding of the LIS field by acquiring knowledge of information science and bolstering their technological skillset which will open up the door to new career opportunities.
