    *Weekly Guided Meditation and Relaxation Sessions in Palace Road
    1:30pm – 2:00pm – Counseling Center Conference Room (P-312)
    Learn techniques to better manage stress during these short meditation sessions (about 20 minutes). Sessions are appropriate for all individuals, especially those new to meditation. Email questions to [email protected]

    Amy Ryan, our SLIS Adviser in Residence, is the current chair of the Digital Public Library of America, and former President of Boston Public Library.     *Panopticon – Data Management Workshop for Artists
    1:00pm – 5:00pm – SLIS Tech Lab (P-213)
    Panopticon is putting together its final/crowning event for the semester: a hands-on, DATA MANAGEMENT FOR ARTISTS workshop. We’ll be doing an overview presentation, but the bulk of the workshop will be breakout groups focused on providing arts-oriented data management counseling.     LISSA, ALA & SPECTRA present the Simmons College SLIS 2016 end-of-semester event: SLIS Prom! Celebrate the end of spring semester with a #FlashbackFriday to high school’s biggest moment, SLIS-style!  Wear whatever makes you feel fancy (but bonus points for throwback attire) and kick up your heels with a live DJ, rocking dance floor, light refreshments, and cash-only bar. We’ll be raffling off great prizes, including a flat-screen TV!
