PLG #NoHateALA Panel

Join us for a debrief on the #NoHateALA campaign that took place this summer. The movement was in response to an interpretation of the Library Bill of Rights that discouraged public libraries from denying hate groups’ access to meeting rooms. Food will be provided and the event will be livestreamed. Our panelists will be:

  • Stacy Collins, Simmons graduate, a librarian at our very own Beatley Library, and creator of the anti-oppression libguide.
  • Lena Gluck, Simmons Graduate, local activist, and creator of the Safer Library Spaces website.
    Sofia Leung, a librarian at MIT Libraries and a leader in the group We Here, a collective of information professionals of color.
