On Wednesday, October 20th from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m., Open Access advocate Peter Suber will be speaking in room M501 of the School of Management building.? Currently a Berkman Fellow at Harvard, Suber also serves as the Open Access Project Director at Public Knowledge.? In addition to his work on Open Access, Suber has taught philosophy, computer science, and law at Earlham College. His research focuses on how policy and technology can foster research, as well as the real and potential impact of the Internet on scholarly communication.
His talk on Wednesday will include a discussion of the Open Access Tracking Project as well as a Q&A session. The Open Access Tracking Project uses tagging to identify developments in the Open Access movement in real time.
