The President of the American Library Association, Loida Garcia Garcia-Febo, will visit the Cambridge Public Library to promote her advocacy campaign of Libraries=Strong Communities. This campaign is intended to highlight the value of public, academic, and school libraries, and the many ways in which these libraries deliver an increasing array of services, which contribute to strengthen communities. Ms. Garcia-Febo will participate in a celebration of public and academic libraries, which will take place at Joan Lorentz park in front of the Main Library at 11:45 am.
