SLIS Tech would like to introduce itself. They are a group of students from the SLIS and COCIS community who work with you to provide available workspace and community assistance for all your SLIS Tech needs! The SLIS Tech Lab is located in the Palace Road building, room P-213, on the second floor next to the vending machines.
While Simmons Technology is available to help you with connection errors and general tech issues, SLIS tech is ready to help with SLIS-oriented software, and acts as a specialized tech resource for the SLIS and COCIS community.
You are encouraged to stop by the Lab during their open hours, and get to know the resources that are available to you!

The SLIS Tech Lab’s regular hours for the Fall 2017 term are:
7:30am-9:30pm Monday-Thursday
8:00am-5:00pm Friday
9:00am-5:00pm Saturday
10:00am-4:00pm Sunday

The SLIS Tech Lab offers many services to the SLIS and COCIS communities, such as:
- Tech Spaces available for reservation (P-213 TechLab, P-314 Collaboratory)
- Equipment resources (including a 3D printer!)
- Items Available for Borrowing (including chargers and laptops!)
- Software resources (SO MANY APPS)
- Human resources – visit the Lab to speak with staff who can assist you with a variety of technology-related issues
