SLA@Simmons is hosting an SLA Conference Information Sessions for SLIS students in the Collabortory. Join us April 27th in the afternoon/evening event 4:30 to 5:30pm. We will have desserts!!

This is an informal information session for students who are interested in attending SLA Conference, but would like more information about how a conference is run, what types of sessions there are, how they can benefit from going, tips and tricks, etc.

Brandy King (see her website) and Jim Matarazzo (dean emeritus, professor, SLA@Simmons advisor and being honored at SLA 2015 conference) will be discussing the conference with students.
