UXPA Open House & Talk with New Media Artist and UX Researcher Yeseul Song

Hello and Welcome Back SLIS Students!

We have a lot of exciting events planned for this semester and hope you can join us.

Our first event this semester will be held on Thursday, February 22, from 4-5:30 p.m. in P-314.

All are invited to the UXPA Open House & Talk with New Media Artist and UX Researcher Yeseul Song.

Mingle with fellow classmates while you enjoy food and drinks and learn about the user experience field. A brief information session about who UXPA is and the field of user experience in relation to LIS will kick off the event followed by a talk by Yeseul Song.

Yeseul is a Korean-born new media artist and researcher based in New York. She combines art, design, and technology to create new sensory experience and open up people’s imagination. Her artwork has been shown at Mana Contemporary among others and recognized by Lumen Prize, Communication Arts Interactive Competition, and iF Design Award.

Formerly, she worked as a user experience researcher in industrial and academic settings. She studied Library and Information Science at Yonsei University and Simmons College, and currently pursuing a master’s degree at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunication Program (ITP). We hope to see you there!
