Today Taipei city is hit by Typhoon Trami and has been raining constantly like cats and dogs. The city government of Taipei has announced the cancellation of classes and work and people are warned not to go out randomly. I just had a very nice brown bag lunch with several NTU LIS faculty. Here at LIS, there is a monthly faculty brown bag where faculty (whomever available) have lunch together to chat and catch up with one another.
