In this project, a student will engage with the museum’s archival materials, gaining hands-on experience in archival management. The student will begin by surveying the collection, assessing its content, condition, and structure. Based on this initial evaluation, they will develop an organizational schema tailored to the specific materials and the museum’s cataloging standards.

Once the schema is determined, the student will process the collection, which involves arranging and describing the materials for future use by researchers and the public. The culmination of this work will be the creation of a detailed finding aid. This finding aid will be entered into the museum's database, providing searchable metadata and facilitating access to the collection for scholars and visitors alike.
