We are located very close to the Mass Ave stop on the Orange line, the Symphony stop on the Green Line (E) and are not too far from Hynes Convention Center which serves the rest of the Green Line branches. We are also located right near the 39 bus stop at the corner of Huntington Ave and Gainsborough St.
Site Description
NEC is a college primarily dedicated to music performance. We have approximately 750 students, spilt between undergrad and grad students. NEC also has an Expanded Education division which includes a large Preparatory school, as well as adult education and summer programs. Our concert hall, Jordan Hall, is a National Historic landmark, and one of the best concert halls in the United States. NEC offers hundreds of free concerts open to the public throughout the academic year.
