Arrangement and Description of the David M. Delo Papers

1. Student will work primarily on processing a small (2 linear foot) accession of additions to an already existing collection of University of Tampa presidential papers.
2. Upon completing arrangement, student will edit the description of the material by making emendations to the existing finding aid and updating the work in our integrated library system,
ALMA.
3. The above work will be done according to Describing Archives: A Content Standard.
4. Creation of small exhibit: Student may choose to digitize a handful of processed materials for an online exhibit, or to create a small physical exhibit for display in the library.
5. Time permitting, supplementary work or observation may include the following:
-With Archives and Special Collections Librarian, attend meeting with a prospective collection donor.
-Accomplish an occasional reference request (may involve scanning and sending file to patron)
-Accompanying Archives & Special Collections Librarian in giving workshops to classes on campus at the Archive.
