The Cape Ann Transportation Authority Route 8 City of Beverly Shuttle runs between Beverly Depot and Beverly City Hall which is 3 blocks from the library. MBTA Bus Routes 435 & 436, 450, 451 and 455 service the Beverly area and Salem Depot which is one stop away from Beverly Depot.
Site Description
Beverly Public Library (BPL) is one of the largest public libraries in the North Of Boston Library Exchange consortium and serves the city of Beverly in the North Shore region of Massachusetts. BPL's main library is located at 32 Essex Street and the Farms Branch is located at 24 Vine Street; it also has a bookmobile and home delivery service. The main library features the Beverly Room which contains resources for researching local history and genealogy. Its collection includes scrapbooks, pamphlets, and ephemera on subjects such as Beverly organizations, local government, churches, schools, companies, and citizens. Town government documents, yearbooks, street lists, and maps are also available.
