Project Details
The Judicial Archives holds docket books, record books, and file papers documenting cases heard by the Supreme Judicial Court for Middlesex County, 1797-1921. The goal of this project is to capture basic metadata at the box and volume level for updating records in our Re:Discovery collections management software. The intern will review original records, create metadata spreadsheets, and assist with the upload of metadata to Re:Discovery. They will also work on linking metadata records to digitized images hosted on FamilySearch. Additional description work related to the collection is also a possibility depending on time and interest.
