College Archives - Processing Project

The Providence College Archives and Special Collections has recently begun a systematic collections review, resulting the identification of several processing projects within our college records collections. The intern will work with the head of the department and collections archivist to determine the appropriate collection to work on given the student's experience, interests, and subject knowledge. The intern will follow the ASC processing plan and guidelines provided, resulting in either a completed finding aid or section/series if part of a large collection. The intern will also be able to experience other aspects of the department, depending on their schedule and the schedule of events and work in the ASC. All internship hours must be completed onsite and during the regular business hours of the department: Monday through Friday 8:30-4:30pm.
