Site Description
historic home, built in 1760, acquired by Lowell Parks & Conservation Trust as a historic house museum and urban environmental education center in 1996 from the Daughters of the American Revolution, Molly Varnum Chapter; originally the Moses Davis Tavern for bargekeepers on the Merrimack River, then home to the Spalding Family for about 100 years (including three revolutionary war soldiers)
