MBTA: Take the Red Line to JFK/UMass station and board the #1 shuttle bus. Ask the driver to be dropped off at the Massachusetts Archives/JFK Library bus stop, which is about a two minute walk from the archives building. The bus is free and runs every five minutes from the train station. Parking is also available on site at the archives facility.
Site Description
The Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Division of Archives and Records Preservation, ("Judicial Archives"), preserves and provides public access to historical records of the Massachusetts court system. The earliest records managed by the Judicial Archives, generally those dated 1860 and earlier, are housed in shared storage space at the Massachusetts Archives. The Massachusetts Archives facility at 220 Morrissey Blvd. (next to UMass Boston) is the site location for this internship.
