The Arlington Historical Society is offering an internship opportunity to work on the McCallister Collection, which is composed of six trunks containing mostly papers and photos that require processing and cataloging. The student intern will have the chance to work closely with historical documents, enhance their archival skills, and contribute to the preservation of local history.
Responsibilities include assessing the current state of the collection, organizing and sorting the records for improved accessibility, documenting and cataloging the records, and creating a detailed inventory and finding aid for the collection.
