Site Description
Opened in 1922, the Poe Museum in Richmond, Virginia houses a collection of over 4,000 items related to the life and work of author Edgar Allan Poe. The museum features exhibits of Poe personal possessions, manuscripts, first editions, first printings, and memorabilia in addition to a reference library and archive of Poe materials.
