Special Collections Processing Intern

The internship will include the arrangement and description of a collection, or collections time depending, from the Cape Verde or Rhode Island College Archives. The intern will create EAD finding aids to upload the collection descriptions to RIAMCO. While processing, they will select items for digitization, and will learn how to digitize materials and create metadata in order to make them accessible online. Additionally, the internship will allow for the student to respond to various reference requests and shadow potential instruction sessions at the discretion of the intern.
