Project Details
This project involves processing archival materials for a series of the David Wheeler collection. David Wheeler (1925-2012) was an American theatre director, most well known for founding the Theatre Company of Boston. He served as its artistic director from 1963 to 1975. The TCB staged over 80 productions before its closing, including works by playwrights such as Samuel Beckett, Sam Shepard, Edward Albee, and Bertolt Brecht.
The majority of the materials in the collection have already been arranged, rehoused, and described. However, there are several series that remain to be processed, which the student may pick from according to their interests in processing specific formats/genres. Training will be provided for every aspect of the project.
