Crystal Bridges: Institutional Archives

Since the museum's recent founding in 2011, Crystal Bridges' institutional archives have grown without a unified collection policy. Additionally, the museum has embarked on a major expansion project that has inspired close attention to the collection of related materials. This role will assist archives staff with the development of an institutional archives collection policy, including supervised engagement with museum departments, and the processing of materials selected for the institutional archives. Skills employed/developed include collection planning, inventorying, weeding, item/box/series-level archival description, and creating records in ArchivesSpace.
