Project Details
This internship will be working on the Martin T. Meehan Collection, a large collection of professional papers from Meehan's time as a lawyer, prosecutor, and congressman.
The intern will work on processing one series in the collection, updating or creating an inventory for the series selected, and updating the collection finding aid to meet current institutional standards.
Students can choose which series to work on based on their interests. Series options include but are not limited to:
Banners, Maps, and posters + Flat files
Campaign Collection (campaign for US House of Representatives)
CODELS (congressional delegation files of Meehan's visits abroad)
Law Practice and District Attorney's Office

Choice of series should be completed by the second week of the internship.

Requirements
Internship will take place Monday-Friday, 9-5. Friday is strongly preferred for one of the shifts each week, but supervisor will work with your schedule to accommodate you.
Student is responsible for transportation to O'Leary Library at UMass Lowell via private car or public transportation. O'Leary Library is located at 61 Wilder St Ste 1, Lowell, MA 01854.
