Joseph Gregor's Denkmalers des theaters mappe II processing project

a collection of approximately 18 of 22 plates from Joseph Gregor's Denkmalers des Theaters, specifically volume II, titled, "Szenische Architekturen und Architekturphantasien" (Scenic architectures and architectural fantasies). I just discovered that we have these extraordinary plates that seem to be of actual architectural structures/buildings in Europe mixed in with fantasy scenes he created. Gregor was known for being a theater scholar during the Third Reich, but these prints were originally published in 1926, so what this project would entail specifically is describing and researching the different plates and creating a finding aid that can aid researchers in understanding a historical and biographical sketch of Joseph Gregor and where these plates fit in with his career. Additionally, a blog post would be expected to highlight some of the plates and discuss Gregor's life and career and his role within theater history in Europe.
