The Sharon Historical Society is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Archives Intern to contribute to the preservation and organization of our extensive archival collection, spanning the 18th to the 20th centuries. The intern will work closely with the Chair of the Society’s Archives Committee, an experienced archivist, to digitize materials, create metadata, and assist in the arrangement and description of both unprocessed objects and paper-based collections. Schedule is flexible and will be arranged prior to the start of the internship.

Enrollment in a graduate level Library and/or Archival management program
Basic understanding of archival processes
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
