BU Libraries - UX research for web and discovery

BU Libraries' Library Technology & Discovery Services team leads user experience activities for the libraries' websites and discovery systems. We are embarking on a full website redesign project with our Marketing & Communications team, and in spring 2024 will be conducting UX research activities focused on library help services, discovery and access to resources. In this advanced field placement opportunity you would participate in all phases of these activities (may include usability testing, interviews, journey mapping, etc.), report on findings, and identify new opportunities in improving library web UX from other sites and industries. In completing this placement you'd have an opportunity to present to our library staff and would have one or more portfolio quality reports demonstrating practical experience in user experience research.
