Site Description
The Abraham Pollen Archives is the institutional repository of Massachusetts Eye and Ear (MEE), a Harvard teaching hospital dedicated to eye and ear, nose, and throat care and research. The archives documents the history of MEE, as well as the history of ophthalmology and otolaryngology more broadly. The archival collection primarily consists of textual records, photographs, and medical instruments. In addition, the Rare Book Library holds nearly 3000 volumes dating back to 1490.
