Project Details
The College of the Holy Cross Archives and Distinctive Collections is in the process of digitizing publications produced by the Cantor Gallery, the art gallery found on Holy Cross' campus. We are looking for a LIS student to digitize these materials and create metadata in preparation for these items to be uploaded to our internet repository. During this project, the student will:
1. Scan the materials
2. Create descriptive metadata for the items
3. Enter the metadata into a spreadsheet in preparation for bulk upload into the internet repository

Minimum Qualifications:
1. Enrolled in an ALA-accredited information studies program.
2. Basic knowledge of archival description, arrangement and Google Sheets.
3. Good organizational skills.
4. Highly responsible, reliable and ability to perform highly-detailed work.
5. Ability to follow detailed instructions and ask questions when needed.
6. Excellent communication skills.
