We have a brand new Digitization Lab at BU Libraries that would benefit from an SLIS student working with us to help design processes and workflows for digitizing materials for our future digital collections portal, while gaining experience in digitization through brand new state-of-the-art digitization equipment.
Are you willing to complete two evaluations of your students progress through out the course of the semester?

Requirements
-Familiarity with digital image editing software, data management, and processing, such as Capture One, Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge.
-Knowledge of metadata practices and standards such as Dublin Core, METS, MODS, PREMIS, VRA, EAD, and TEI.
-Familiarity with standards for care and handling of rare and fragile materials.
