Project Details
The History Project, Boston's LGBTQ+ community archives, seeks a student intern to assist with processing a discrete (~5 linear feet) collection to improve use and access.

Working with the site supervisor, internship duties and responsibilities include:
- Survey the assigned collection and create a processing plan to be completed within allotted internship timeline
- Work within THP procedure to complete physical and intellectual arrangement of materials
- Conduct collections care and physical processing for preservation
- Describe the collection, culminating in a Finding Aid

Work will be completed on-site at THP's Office (565 Boylston Street); schedule to be determined with site supervisor within context of student's availability, office availability, and the scope of the semester.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled Graduate student
- Coursework in and understanding of archival processing practices and description standards
- Interest in LGBTQ+ history and/or community archives
