Site Description
The History Project is Boston’s LGBTQ+ community archives, founded in 1980 as a volunteer-driven organization of archivists and historians. By providing research access to our 250+ archival collections, and bringing local queer histories to life through our public programming, we carry forward our mission to document, preserve, and share Boston & New England's LGBTQ+ history.
