Class of 1936 collection Processing Project

Work will consist of processing the Purdue University Class of 1936 collection. The collection is roughly 2.5-3 cubic feet is size, and contains a variety of material related to the Class of 1936, including correspondence, alumni reunion planning material and programs, photographs, and memorabilia. The student will be responsible for each step in the processing process, including surveying the collection, creating a processing plan, rehousing material in archival folders and boxes, arranging the collection, and creating a finding aid. Depending on time and interest, the student may also be able to participate in other activities throughout the Archives, including working the reference desk/answering reference emails, assisting in departmental transfers of material to the Archives, and working on additional small processing projects.
