Mount Holyoke College Archives and Special Collections is seeking an enthusiastic intern for the fall semester 2023. The work will include archival arrangement, description of collections, and digitization projects related to the history of Mount Holyoke College. Projects may include but are not limited to creating finding aids using ArchivesSpace, inventories of materials, digitization work and digital exhibits, and other tasks as assigned. The intern will work closely with Archives and Special Collections staff.

Requirements
This is an unpaid internship. Candidates should commit to working a number of days per week, or hours per week, based on the 130-hour internship requirements, at the archives. We are open 9:00 am-5:00 pm Monday through Friday. Candidates must be currently enrolled in Simmons' Library & Information Science graduate program specializing in archival studies. Interns must have attention to detail, thorough research skills, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Applications will be reviewed immediately.
