Archives Processing Internship
The student will gain a practical understanding of the archival enterprise by processing an archival collection. First, the student will be assigned a collection of archival materials and conduct a collection analysis, including current arrangements, formats, and conditions. Then the student will propose an arrangement and description scheme. Once the plan is approved, finally, the student will process the collection, including rehousing, labeling, and creating appropriate access tools.
