Engaging Families at the Library of Congress, Office of the Librarian/Informal Learning Office: In this project, the Junior Fellow will explore interests in museum education and informal learning environments, experience working with primary sources, and classwork or experience in education using the vast collections of the Library of Congress.
Amanda will be working with the Library for ten weeks, conducting research and presenting it to the public in the form of a primary source research box. She will also write one primary source-informed blog post for our family blog. In addition, she will be serving as a mentor for our teen volunteer program this summer.
