Perkins Family Vietnam-Era Letters

In 2001, the Sudbury Historical Society received a large donation of materials from the late Ginny Perkins, an active Sudbury community member, and her family. The items range from military uniforms to photographs; however, most are Vietnam-era letters that have remained unprocessed for decades. The items have been initially accessioned, but have not been properly housed and have not received proper description. The student(s) would create a plan for rehousing the letters and place them in proper enclosures. Additionally, a finding aid, or at the very least, an abstract and scope note on the materials would be created. A virtual exhibition and/or a plan for making the materials more accessible on our website would be welcome.
