Process, arrange, and describe the Museum's newly acquired "Dorothy West Collection," approximately 4 cubic feet of letters, photographs, manuscripts, books, and memorabilia belonging to the late Harlem Renaissance writer, a summer (later permanent) resident of Oak Bluffs and a chronicler of the African American community there. Develop a preliminary finding aid for use by the exhibits team in mounting a Dorothy West exhibit this summer, and identify items that might be spotlighted in the exhibit.
