Project Details
Over the course of the semester, a field experience student will undertake two primary projects:
1. Complete the migration of the Herb Simon and Alan Newell finding aids to ArchivesSpace. These are two of our most important collections and the conversion of their finding aids will require attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and the willingness to ask questions. This work can be done remotely.
2. Complete the processing of 1-3 small collections related to a current DEI/Community Archives initiative. The student will work closely with Crystal Johnson (a Simmons alum!) to complete this work. This work will take place on-site.
