We invite one intern to work alongside our small team of three professional archivists for the Fall
2022 semester, learning about and entering records in our ArchivesSpace collections catalog.
We will start with a brief training period to help the intern learn some aspects of the software and guide them
through a project consisting of entering a small record collection we hope will be published and
serve as a deliverable at the end of the semester.
This is a new type of internship we are offering and hope that CMS experience and knowledge of
ArchivesSpace will serve interns well as they advance in their career. As with all internships, we will also
share some of our daily archival work, including basic preservation measures, handling of different
materials, and our reference process.
